So, I did an interview with a gentleman by the name of Guy Jacobson, who wrote and produced a film called 'Holly', based on an experience he had being solicited for sex by a group of 5 to 7 year old girls while travelling in Cambodia. His production company and info about the film can be seen at and the grassroots organization he founded to help combat the worldwide epidemic of child exploitation can be found at I did the interview, checked some facts, got information from the US State Department website concerning the Trafficking in Persons Report, an expose Dateline NBC has done on the topic, etc. I published the piece at and very soon after got a complaint from a gentleman, an expat, who lives in Cambodia, saying that I was sensationalizing the issue, that it is a mostly underground thing, essentially that I was making the country look bad. So this is what it's like to have your work disputed... Now, I am totally not saying that the work was major or that the dispute was that big of a deal, but I now have a low level idea of what it feels like to have a piece of my writing to be disagreed with, shall we say.
